VillaMartin is situated
about 8kms south of Torrevieja on the Costa Blanca. It previously
hosted the Mediterranean Open and is probably the best known
course in the area. It is a medium difficulty course comprising
of scenic fairways and excellent greens. The Putman designed
course opened in 1972 and has been the focal point of Mediterranean
golf since that time.
The Clubhouse and pool provide wonderful
surroundings for discussing the blobs, pars and birdies! The
place oozes class as soon as you wander through the entrance
gardens complete with fountain and statue of an angelic lady
golfer. You won't be disappointed by the 6037 metre, par 72
course either. There are some great holes and plenty of expensive
eye-catching mansions on the courses perimeter.
Within a 5 minute drive of VillaMartin
there are two more courses Campoamor
and Las Ramblas.
