Relish your time in this millionaires playground. Why you should play. The place oozes class as soon as you wander through the entrance gardens complete with fountain and statue of an angelic lady golfer. You won't be disappointed by the 6037 metre, par 72 course either. There are some great holes and plenty of expensive eye-catching mansions on the courses perimeter. You'll love it. Wish you were here?

Best bit. A difficult one as there's such a healthy choice but the 303 metre par four 7th, a downhill  dogleg right to a green surrounded by cork trees, takes some beating. There's a gem of a finale too- an elevated tee where you drive over yet more trees, the hole turning abruptly left and the fairway looking wafer-thin from your position up in the clouds. Well almost!!

The layout of this course has been adapted both for the professional and the amateur. The fairways are wide and long but the greens and the inclination of the fairways are the big challenges.

Las Ramblas

Located between two ravines on the shore of the Mediterranean. It's an outstanding, undulating course in a dramatic, contrasting landscape and water hazards. One minute you're trying to steer clear of trees and shrubbery and the next you're battling to avoid barren rock outcrops. Be warned it's a battle you might well lose. But you'll love trying.

Best bit. The challenge of propelling your ball over a series of gorges and ravines. The first - a 341-metre sharp dogleg right of a par four- sets the tone. You can either gamble and drive over a rocky hillock or play safe by taking an iron , aiming for an area straight ahead but leaving a lengthy second shot. Decisions, decisions... and Las Ramblas is full of them.

Lying in a valley between two mountains, this course is mainly flat and doesn’t offer to many difficulties. It has wide fairways interspersed with canals and other obstacles which all players find enjoyable. It is a course that ranks as very comfortable, yet gives a player a chance to use a wide variety of irons.

The La Finca is one of Costa Blanca’s newest golf courses and was opened in 2002. It is set in the town of Algorfa with breath taking scenery and the mountains as a backdrop. Fantastic greens, quite long, with water everywhere. A great challenge to any golfer.
